R.I.R. Challenge Cars @ Martinsville Speedway

Today's Challenge Cars race was to reveal some of the talents that couldn't be revealed during the regular race - simply because of the champs, those who has proved their titles already. This race was for non-pro racers. Who, nevertheless, have made a very decent perfomance, even despite the lack of battles.
We even had one newcomer, Mitsuni 'Sexy' Wolfie - it's always great to see more people to get involved into racing, and even if they don't win, this doesn't matter - they took a first step, what requires some courage, more courage is needed to keep on racing. Welcome aboard, Mitsuni!
I got there right before the beginning of the qualifying round. At first BanningBairde had the lead position, then Sweet overtook it - but Moonites, who qualified last, made a 15.862 seconds lap and that was the best result. So the pole went to him.
The race itself was even quite dynamic.

Garth, experienced enough to do a headstart, soon got competed by Shishi, but BanningBairde got between them - and after a few laps, MidnightRambler Frostbite caught up with them all, and Shishi now had to battle with him. Soon the pack has dispersed, and the race turned into "don't get lapped by Moonites" game... everyone but Garth himself lost though.
It was not a bad race, and I mean it - great start for all of you, non-pros, and congratulations winners, of course! - but all of us expect more competition in the future. Keep on practicing, racers, and good luck to you all in your career!
